'How hit can you git?' Snowball Fight (January 4th, 2006 - March 21st, 2006)

A new flash advert appeared on the front page to advertise this event. The goal was to get hit by as many snowballs as possible, and in the end 50 people would win.

You could find snowballs on the World Map. A popup would appear telling you that you had a snowball. If you clicked on the snowball in your inventory/carried items, you had the option of throwing the snowball to a random online person.
Similarly, when you were online, you could randomly be hit by other snowballs. When that happened you got a popup, and your whuddletar would appear pelted with a snowball. You could have more than one snowball pelted on you at any time, and those would go away after some time. You also got one smushed snowball in your inventory.
The snowballs (both normal and smushed) would melt over time and become a puddle, which would stay in your inventory. (Luckily, the puddles stacked.)

You could check how many snowballs you had thrown/received by checking your Omnibus.
Later, a High Score Table was added to the main page. By clicking the "Snowball Tally" button you could see the current records for "Top 10 - Found" and "Top 10- Hit".
Also the way you found snowballs changed. You couldn't refresh any more to get them, and there was a chance of your snowball "crumbling" when you tried to make one. If you threw the snowball, there was a small chance of it donating a random amount of WBs to you. There was also an even smaller chance of receiving one of 9 rare ornaments.

The event closed just as Beta Testing began, so the winners were announced at once. When the site reopened in July, the 50 whuddles who had been hit the most received the Snowball Award.

After Beta, all the ornaments and puddles were taken away from the users. The Ornaments were then released again in 2006.
